Show the differences between 2 datasets.
Compare 2 datasets by row number:
Compare 2 datasets using key columns:
Two.
•Set Compare rows by to:
oRow numbers to compare by row numbers. E.g. row 1 in the top dataset to row 1 in the bottom dataset.
oKey columns to compare by matching values in common key columns in both datasets. E.g. rows with key value 001 in the top dataset to row with key value 001 in the bottom dataset.
•Set Top key column to the key column in the top dataset. For Key columns matching only.
•Set Bottom key column to the key column in the bottom dataset. For Key columns matching only.
•Set Sort by key to sort key values in ascending order. For Key columns matching only.
•Check case sensitive for case sensitive matching of keys. For Key columns matching only.
•Set Max differences to the maximum number of differences you want to report.
•Columns are compared by column number (index), not by column name. E.g. column 1 in the top dataset is compared to column 1 in the bottom dataset. You can reorder columns using Recorder Cols.
•All dataset values are treated as text
•Dataset value comparisons are sensitive to case and whitespace.
•Use multiple keys for Join/Lookup/Intersect/Subtract
