A Smooth line chart is the same as a Line chart, except that the line segments are aesthetically smoothed (using splines).

You can check show data points in the Series tab to show the actual data points.

If the smoothed line goes outside the automatically set Y axis minimum or maximum, you can set the Minimum and Maximum to Custom in the Y Axis tab.
