How to clean data

Easy Data transform has various features that help you quickly and easily clean your data. Cleaning might include:

• removing unwanted characters (such as currency symbols)
• filtering out rows with missing values
• standardizing case (e.g. to put names in title case)
• standardizing whitespace (e.g. to remove carriage returns and leading and trailing spaces)
• standardizing separators (e.g. to use either / or - in dates )
• removing extreme values
