E.g. hex to decimal

Easy Data Transform can convert whole columns of your data between different number bases using the **Num Base** transform.

For example, from hex (hexadecimal) to decimal:

Or decimal to binary:

If you set **Base from** to **Guess** it will intelligently guess the base for each value using C conventions:

- Numbers starting with 0x (e.g. 0x123) are assumed hexadecimal (base 16).
- Numbers starting with 0 (e.g. 0123) are assumed octal (base 8).
- All other values (e.g. 123) are decimal (base 10).

For example:

Note that you need to have **show advanced** checked in the Left pane to show the **Num base** transform.

See the video above for more details.

Easy Data Transform can also help with merging, cleaning, filtering, enriching and reshaping your data. All with a few clicks, no coding required.
