This release adds improvements and bug fixes to v1.30.0. The download links are at the bottom of the page.
We recommend that you back-up important transform files before installing any new release. Please let us know of any problems or issues you encounter with the release.
You can uninstall old releases after you have successfully installed this version.
1. There is a new impute transform. You can use this to infer missing data values from data in the same column. For example to impute the missing ages of Titanic passengers based on the average (mean) age of all passengers:
Or to impute the missing ages of Titanic passengers based on the median age of all passengers with the same passenger class and sex:
Note that Average and Median only work for numerical values. See the Impute transform help page for more details or watch this video:
2. The number of Real (floating point) and Boolean (true/false) values in each column are now shown in the Summary transform and Column Values window.
3. Possible discrepancies are now highlighted in the Column Values window. For example if there are empty values or up to 5% of the sampled values in a column are different to the rest of the values.
4. You can now see example values when you hover over some Value cells in the Column Values window.
5. “NaN” (not a number) values are no longer treated as numeric values by the Summary transform and the Column Values window.
6. You can now double-click an item in the Center pane to show it fullscreen. An option has also been added into the right-click menu. Thanks to Dan F. for the suggestion.
7. Fixed an issue with showing the Right pane fullscreen in two screen mode.
