Easy Data Transform v2.7.0 is now available
Easy Data Transform v2.7.0 is now available for Windows and Mac. Improvements include:
- A new Split Name transform, for splitting a column of names into honorific, first names, middle names, last names and suffixes.
- The Pivot transform now supports multiple levels of pivoting.
- The DateTime Format transform can now change the date format based on input and output locales.
- The Num Format transform now has Locale from and Locale to options.
- The Random transform can now generate random Date and Text values.

Inputs, transforms and outputs now have smarter defaults.

Other minor improvements and bug fixes.

And finally…
The Norwegian lottery got into big trouble by telling thousands of people that they had won a prize 10,000 bigger than they had actually won. Apparently, they multiplied by 100 instead of dividing by 100 when doing a conversion. Hard to fathom how that wasn’t picked up. The CEO resigned.
