Easy Data Transform v1.7.0 released
Easy Data Transform v1.7.0 is now available for Windows and Mac. This release contains bug fixes and improvements, including a new Interpolate transform for interpolating values when merging numerical datasets.

Excel data mangling
Excel is an amazing tool. But it does have a lot of shortcomings, especially when used for things it wasn’t designed for. For example, data transformation. A case in point is the ‘helpful’ way that it will quietly modify anything that it thinks looks like a date. This has caused a lot of problems amongst scientists and engineers. In fact the problem has got so bad that geneticists have decided to change 27 gene names that Excel commonly changes to dates! For example MARCH1 has become MARCHF1. Rest assured that Easy Data Transform won’t mangle your precious data like this.
