Easy Data Transform v1.8.0 released
Easy Data Transform v1.8.0 is now available for Windows and Mac. This release contains bug fixes and improvements, including:
- new Concat Rows and Split Rows transforms
- the addition of standard deviation as an option in the Stats transform
- the option to add meta information (such as file name and creation date) to input datasets

Calculating date and datetime differences
We have written some documentation that covers how you can calculate the difference between 2 dates or datetimes.
Row Num + Filter
If you want to keep, say, the first 100 rows of a dataset, you can do this very easily using the Sample transform:
But if you want more fine-grained control, you can use the Row Num and Filter transforms. For example, if you want to split a 300 row dataset into 3 datasets of 100 rows, you can do it like this:
By combining the 45 different transforms you can quickly perform the vast majority of data transformations you are likely to need. If you run into something that can’t be done using standard transforms, you can probably do it using a regular expression, some Javascript or batch processing or command-line arguments.
