ARM binaries for Mac

Currently Easy Data Transform is an Intel binary on Mac. That means that it runs on the newer M1 (ARM) Macs using Rosetta2 emulation, which is slower than running as a native ARM binary.

We are investigating creating a Universal (‘fat’) binary for Mac, which contains both Intel and ARM versions of the program. This will allow it to run at optimal speed on either chip (at the cost of a larger download). We will need help testing this on as many Macs as possible. So, if you use Easy Data Transform on a Mac, please keep an eye on the forum (https://forum.easydatatransform.com) for announcements.
